No visitors desired: The risk is the lack of a secure place for a newborn, where no visitors can come and share their germs. That an uninvited visitor was able to get close to the newborn is the risky situation... regardless of the craziness or the forehead kiss. A 0-3 month-old should be with the parents and primary caretakers only; so not to catch dangerous Pertussis, RSV, influenza, or stomach flu from "visitors."
