Went to cuba july 2017. we want to try to concieve this march. my dr said he doesn't think we need testing for zika.my dr said he doesn't know much about it though. i'm confused. thought we should get tested if want to try to concieve?

Zika virus: Since the symptoms only occur in 20 % of those affected, if you want to be tested, a positive will identify whether you had the viral infection, but a positive will simply stop concerns about getting Zika while pregnant: if you had Zika, there is no concern about travel while pregnant.
