Im really confused about ovulation testing. how long does ovulation period last usually last? i get my iud out monday, is it possible to conceive right after?

If you have quite regular menstrual cycle lasting 28 days, for example, ovulation would usually occur around day 14. . The egg is only viable for 24 hours, however. Sperm deposited in your vagina can be viable for up to 5 days. Therefore unprotected sex on days 10,11,12,13,&14 & possibly 15 could result in conception. This is just a guideline,however.
