Lh, help: LH monitoring is useful but not terribly precise. It does not matter how "long" the test is positive, ovulations typically happen 24-48 hours after the start of the surge. Unless your test says specifically otherwise, you should use this. Kindly, pregnancy is quite rare in 43 year olds (no more than 10-15%) so I'd talk SOON with a fertility doctor about what you can do. Good luck
