i have an adverse reaction to mosquitoe bites...severe swelling for days, constant itching and now uticaria developing on the area where i've scratched. any treatment to prevent these symptoms. am i allergic to mosquitoe bites?

Yes you are likely a: You are likely to be allergic to mosquito bites. You will need medication to control the hives. Benadryl can help to start with but you should involve your PCP in further treatment decisions, he can regulate your medication as allergic reactions can get progressively worse.
