Uticaria for 4 days now i changed from cetirizine 10mg as nurse adviced me for a better result to change to chlorphenamine 4mg every 4-6hrs a day.still itching how long do i need to take it for itching to stop?why don't uk use cortisteriod injection?

Really depends on what you’re allergic to. That, in part, will determine how long the reaction will go on. Chlorphenirmine will certainly make you sleepier than cetrizine. Possibly less potent as well. No idea why no steroid pulse. Maybe NHS guidelines. Good luck
