No it's not: You probably having or developing an infection,are you on antibiotics? You should see your dentist ASAP for cleaning and depridment of extraction site and prescribe the proper medications.

Not normal: Go see the dentist who did the extraction ASAP - Monday! It sounds like infection and must be treated before it spreads. Even the ER is a choice if they have no opening tomorrow. This may be fine as soon as you are treated, so don't panic - but w/o treatment this may be very bad. Best wishes.
