I had an iud inserted 2 years ago and my period stopped. for the past 2 months i have had something similar to a period off and on (lining and little blood). is my iud still in place and working or do i need to find a gynecologist or perhaps a gp?

IUD/stopped periods: Some IUD's (Mirena for one) have progesterone imbedded, which can influence your menstrual cycle. If the IUD were expelled, it is an event which is usually very noticeable. See a gyn to make sure the IUD is still in the womb.
