A member asked:

My 6 month old started vomiting an hr after his formula feed, carried on for 30 minutes to a point where nothing was coming out. should i be worried?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Emesis: Prolonged emesis can occur and when emptied can see bile or yellow liquid be vomited. Observe on clear liquids i.e. Pedialyte and no milk, look for other signs: fever, diarrhea. If emesis persists and is protracted, see a pedi MD for further evaluation. It is unlikely to be allergy to formula (milk-intolerance) if tolerated well before this.
