A member asked:

Discomfort behind knee & inner calf/lower thigh. no swelling/color change. doc examined & didnt think it was dvt, but no us done. dvt? worried

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Leg pain: from the history, I agree that a deep vein thrombosis is unlikely, as there is no associated swelling, and from your description the discomfort is localized. This raises the issue of a knee related issue, perhaps a popliteal (Baker's) cyst. If you are concerned, then a venous duplex ultrasound would be a great test to determine if you have any venous thrombosis, and possibly the cyst.
