Dog bite : Call your local health department about this for further recommendations but I would also recommend your dependent get examination today

Depends : Is the dog somebody’s pet or a wild animal? What is the incidence of rabies in dogs where you live? How injured is the person who was bit?? if it’s a deep wound that may require cleaning or repair, go to the hospital now. I also suggest you go to your doctor or hospital if “the dependent” is not up-to-date on their tetanus booster
