I think i may've punctured my ear drum on saturday morning. i had blood thru the day on saturday, but has stopped now. i had a rn friend of mine look at it sunday morning and everything we could find on line is that it should heal itself, and to not let water get in it.she asked some of the people at the hospital that she works with and they said the same thing. i don't want to go to doctor because of the covid stuff nowadays, so was hoping you could help. punctured ear drum?

Need more info: What makes you think you punctured the ear drum and bleeding is not from the ear canal? Have you lost hearing in that ear? If you can still hear from the ear, it is unlikely that the ear drum is ruptured. Just to be safe, avoid getting water in the ear. Put a cotton plug in your ear when you take a shower. Wish you good health!
