Been having some chest pain for over a week my dr sent me to er as i had surgery 3 wks ago.went and they did ct scan & bld work and said my heart was ok & no clots but next day having severe shoulderpain. should i go back?

Call surgeon or ER!: We don't know what surgery you had. Your surgeon is awaroe of typical as well as atypical problems that may arise and how best to manage them. Call your surgeon first now, there is someone on call for his practice, if he is not available. Have that person paged. If you cannot reach someone within 30 minutes, and since the pain is severe, go back to ER.
