A member asked:

Are recurrent ovarian luteal cysts - hemorrhagic, some complex, often large - a sign of an underlying problem? is there a treatment?

Hemorrhagic Cysts: Recurrent, painful ovulation resulting in "bloody" cysts may result from taking medication such as blood thinners or from coagulation disorders such as von willenbrand's disease . Endometriosis in the ovaries is often confused with "hemorrhagic cysts". A thorough evaluation is warranted in this situation.
