Never heard of any: I have been in the dental field for almost 20 years and have never heard of a connection from anesthesia and hair loss.

No relation: If that were the case then most people would have no hair. Thousands of teeth are extracted yearly, yet there have been no reports anywhere that anyone has experienced hair loss following their extraction(s).

No connection: Novocaine injections do not influence hair growth or loss.

Absolutely not: If there was such an association, wouldn't there be so many more bald people? Anecdotally, as an Orthodontist with more than a half century experience, none of the patients that I have referred for extractions experienced anything other than familial male pattern baldness. In other words, if dad's bald, son will probably also be bald, and that has nothing to do with novacaine-extractions.
