UTI: Does every culture grow bacteria? if not, it can be interstitial cystitis - an inflammatory condition with symptoms of UTI but negative cultures. if it is UTI taking cranberry pills 2-3 a day may prevent infections as it prevents wall adhesion. Hygiene practices , washing before sex, ( both parties), urinating before and after sex , hydration to keep kidneys flushed. f/u/ w urogynecology
