Depends: Every person who needs thyroid medication, has to have their dose individualized, based on both their clinical symptoms and their labs. So one person might be on 150 mcg and another similarly sized and affected person might only be on 75 mcg and yet, based on their symptoms and labs, they are on the correct dose. So, truly the answer depends on a trained physician's skill and recommendations.
