Should not need both: Armour-thyroid is thyroid extract (desiccated thyroid glands of pork/beef containing all the thyroid hormones) and eltroxin (levothyroxine) is a synthetic active thyroid hormone/substance. Hashimoto initially causes hyper but eventually turns hypo and will need replacement. One diagnosed as hypo, docs commonly prescribe levothyroxine, or armour in some cases, but not both. Consult doc.
