Laryngitis: The issues to be addressed are whether there is post nasal drip from a nasal or sinus condition or if laryngopharyngeal reflux is playing a role. In general, I would not think antibiotics are warranted without determining what infection you are treating. You need a good ENT exam, video stroboscopy of your larynx, and then treatment can be properly initiated.
