Infection: If the wisdom teeth were completely removed and you have no medical issues I doubt that you will need a second surgery. However, it is imperative that you go back to the dentist who treated you for an evaluation. It is highly unlikely that merely taking antibiotics now will totally resolve the infection. More importantly don't just take the antibiotics on your own and not see the dentist again!

Infection: If it has been aver a month since your extractions and you are still having issues, return to the Oral Surgeon who treated you for reevaluation. It may be less of a problem than you think.
