Unlikely!: It is unlikely for this type of injury causing concussion unless the blow was very hard or if there was any altered state of conciousness

Of course, that...: Of course, but that would depend on the force of the impact. A little impact that scrapes off a few skin cells is an injury, but nobody worries about that. Getting knocked to the ground would be an injury, and we might worry about that one. Common sense and judgement will help one decide when to go see his doctor. Questions like "Can this cause injury?" almost always have YES for an answer.
