A hemorrhoid: is basically a swollen VEIN (thus is a blood vessel) You really should have an in person examination for EXACT diagnosis ind treatment...in the meantime SITZ baths (siting in a partially filled tub of warm-hot (NOT BURNING) water may be very helpful! Hope this helps! Dr Z

Had colonoscopy 5 years ago DX with internal hemorrhoids. Another scheduled Feb 25. Was constipted. Now have rectal pain,lump at anus, and today noticed blood streak on outside of stool. Could this be colon cancer or more likely hemorrhoids?
