Gamma-aminobutyric: Gamma aminobutyric acid or GABA is used anectdotally to address anxiety. There is no data about the safety of GABA while breastfeeding. Due to the lack of information it is wise to avoid using it while breastfeeding.

Breast feeding/meds: Breast feeding once a day, and taking a GABA supplement is not going to affect your child. The amount of GABA which enters breast milk is negligible.
