Sleep is essential: for rejuvenation of all aspects of brain and body function. The brain is active during sleep while the body functions slow down and rest. It is restoring balance throughout the body and conducting repairs. Sleep deprivation reduces this process leaving the brain and body at a less functional level. That affects everything we do and increases susceptibility to disease. Sleep well!
