Work on the sleep: People will perform at their best when they have proper amounts of restorative sleep, good health, good nutrition and work in a safe environment. If you know her sleep habits are poor, that is the first area to work on. At 18 she should get no less than 8 hrs of sleep/24 and may need more if her work is physically or mentally challenging. Distractors like electronics/late nights need to stop.
