1-4 days: The typical incubation period after exposure to influenza virus (including H1N1 strains) is about 2 days, with a range of 1 – 4 days. If you have significant lung problems you can ask your doctor for prophylactic antiviral treatment after exposure. If you haven't already, get the flu shot!
