HighASOT/Low Vit D: Your rising titer of ASOT after being on Penicillin for 7 months is difficult to explain.What is being treated with Penicillin.Where is the infection&was any culture done.We normally do not treat elevated ASOT for 7 months without an active Strep Infection.You need to discuss with your Doctor.Your Vit D level is low and not related and needs to be treated with Vitamin D Supplementation.Consult ID
