ASO Titer: Well, Did you have knee pain or leg pain? The complication of strep infection could be reactive Arthritis which is involving the joints, so if that's the case you have been treated for strep infection, ASO becomes positive 1 wk after exposure to Bacteria and stays up in body despite treatment for 6 months. Your leg pain simply might not be related to the Strep infection.
