Rheumatic fever?: Strept infection may be associated with joint pain but is rarely seen nowadays. Have you tried NSAID yet? If NSAID does not help, ask your doctor to give you something more potent and perhaps reassess your condition to make sure that there is nothing else happening.

Additional info: Define "leg pain". Is it in the joints and if so which ones? Is it the entire leg? Is it aching or burning in character? When did it come on in relation to the doctor's visit? What was going on with you that led to getting the ASO? I can give you a much better answer with this additional information.
