Cardiac ablation july. difficulty in weaning off sotolol. so dose back to original dose 80mg am/pm . anxiety is back . is it sotolol ?

Probably: this is tough though, a delicate balance of risk vs benefits of a certain drug, it may not be the sotalol, worth conferring with the cardiologist / psychiatrist, wish you wellness

Possibly: The B blocker part of sotalol blocks the adrenaline a little bit so can cause anxiety like symptoms or may in fact unmask an underlying anxiety. Options are to stay on original dose vs change to a different B blocker vs explore anxiety treatment options with GP if relevant. So a GP consult here will be helpful to work out what best. Good luck.
