It is reportedly: quite common to experience an increase in appetite just before or during your menstrual period. The hormone changes associated with the menstrual cycles can make you feel hungrier. These same changes can lead your to crave foods that are high in carbohydrates and/or sugar. Chocolate craving during one's period is VERY common. Stay well:)
