Fever: you can use these up to 3 times a day as need. If the fever is persistent then i would get to your physician for further evaluation.

Yes& get checked: You can but he/she has a high fever get him checked by child's pediatrician to find the cause of very high fever.How high is it?Make sure he /she is drinking fluids as well.
