Chronic cough: can very well be your sinuses with chronic post nasal discharge causing the lingering cough, it can last for weeks after a cold, but months, that needs to be treated. Cough: cough lasting for months needs investigations. Its possible to have post viral cough which usually disappears within few weeks . whooping cough , asthma, COPD, and more sinister causes can present as persistent cough. Please consult your doctor or chest physician.
