Dont worry: Having heavy bleeds and even clots in the first cycle or two is quite common in women who went without a period for months. What you are describing is in fact possibly good news, although I have to admit that with you being on metformin for only 2 weeks makes it quite a fast response ! if you continue to experience heavy bleeds for more than 2 weeks please contact your physician.
