Glycemic index: Try finding a glycemic index table and eat foods that are 75 or less. This may be somewhat difficult in the beginning but will be very helpful over time. These foods will not elevate your Insulin levels as much and will help you lose weight in a reasonable fashion. Calorie control will also be helpful along with exercise.
