Neuropathic pain: First, if the neuropathy is from diabetes, getting your blood sugar under control is very important to prevent worsening of the condition. Medications such as gabapentin, lyrica, (pregabalin) gralise, or metanx have been shown to be helpful in certain cases. Topical creams are also used in some cases. Tens units can block painful stimuli from being interpretted by your brain.
