Could a spinal cord syrinx start to cause neuropathic problems despite not changing in size?

Syrinx: Unusual but yes it can happen. It really depends on the size of the syrinx, the smaller and shorter ones this would be quite unusual - in the larger and longer ones this would be more typical but still unusual.
