I had a appendectomy laparoscopic. and it's 2 days after so i took a shower like doc said and when i went to take the pad off the steri strip came off?

It’s not a problem : The incision is typically closed with dissolvable sutures just under the skin. The steri strips add a layer of protection but not absolutely necessary. Make sure incision is kept clean, dry and covered for @5-7 days. Shower but pad dry the incision. Call surgeon if incision is red, draining, or opening.
