Nothing to worry abo: If your feritin level is normal, you do not have excess of iron in the body. Why did you get all these tests done in the first place? Tell us about your CBC results...if the Hb is normal, you can forget about your having any iron related issues.

I have hereditary hemachromatosis. Recent iron panel TIBC 295, UIBC 196, iron 99, iron sat 34% serum ferritin 47 Last phlebotomy was 3 mo ago. Do these numbers mean maintenance? Or is saturation still to high?
Ferritin high 425 ug/l but iron & UIBC normal - has fatty liver disease - could this be hemochromatosis or is it the inflammation from liver disease?
