53 y/o female tibc 247 (250-450ug/dl uibc 173, iron 74, iron sat 30, ferritin 195 (15-150 ng/ml) sed rate 6, c-reactive protein 8. a month later my ferritin level is 246. does this warrant hemochromatosis testing? ive tested over 200 for months.

Labs Helpful: When it comes to laboratory analysis there can be many pitfalls. The ordering physician should monitor the results over time and if indicated do another test to confirm or deny the clinical suspicion.
