Iron : Hereditary hemochromatosis is a condition where inherited mutation on the gene/s that regulates iron metabolism- this makes your body accumulates too much iron and as the result iron associated organ failure can develop . Therapy is phlebotomy to keep your ferritin around 20. I don't think we need to keep the iron to the level that you have. Discuss with your hematologist in detail.
