I had a preventive health check . my abdomen ultrasound report had remark as stage 1 fatty liver. my liver function test were normal. is it serious?

Fatty liver.: Assuming there's no underlying medical condition to treat, (1) lose weight, (2) low cholesterol/fat diet, (3) limit or avoid alcohol. Fatty liver is not necessarily a dangerous condition, but can progress to cause liver inflammation and scar and if you don’t act to control it now.
