You need answers: as to why this is happening and it is not possible to get them from a telemedicine question. If you've been to A&E and they find nothing, it is not very likely to be a heart attack, but you need to see an internist to sort out what else it might be. Try Gaviscon or an antacid containing simethicone if burping helps the discomfort but get a real evaluation please.

Multiple Causes: Chest pain can be a symptom of heart disease but may be may other things such as esophageal spasms, great vessel disease, respiratory disorders (asthma, COPD, bronchitis, infections), and muscle problems to name a few. It really depends on the clinical situation and other symptoms you may be having.It sounds like reflux or gastritis but if concerned discuss with your doctor.
