Burn: Keep the area clean with 1/2 strength hydrogen peroxide and 1/2 saline and apply a topical antimicrobial ointment thickly (such as double or triple antibiotic ointment), cover with a telfa pad to keep the air out and tape. It may be hard to use telfa gauze and tape if it is in your scalp. In that case it depends on how bad the burn is. If bad you may have to cut hair nearby. If infection see md.
