Burning: Tge two most common causes are: 1) yeast infection and 2) dryness secondary to hormonal changes. Will likely need to be checked.... She has waited long enough.

Need to examine: Agree with Dr. D. It is not feasible to provide a meaningful answer without examining her. If she is sexually active, it could be a sexually transmitted infection like herpes.
