Hello, my mom is having a problem under one of her eyes. it's red and swollen. she says it burns and is itchy.

Conjunctivitis: Pink/Red Eye. Most likely. Apply cold compresses. Wash the hand before touching anything else so as to privet spread of this infection to other eye or to some one else. If not better in the AM, or eye is shut with Crusty discharge , have her see either her Ophthalmologist or PCP. She may need Antibiotic Ointment.
