8 weeks: Although it varies somewhat based upon a more specific description of the nature of the fracture and also the health of the patient, a general rule is most great toe fractures heal by about 8 weeks. A knee scooter can be a good way to get around if your doctor told you not to bear weight on that foot. I would discuss the specifics of your case with your doctor.
