Lab Splints Them: Splinted implant crowns are stronger and more resistant to chewing forces, especially those which would act to "bend" or "rotate" individual crowns. Splinted crowns hold up to biting forces better, generally. In cases where high forces are expected, splinting the crowns can be helpful. In any case, they will come splinted from the lab. There is no practical way for your dentist to do that.
