Suppresses vertigo: Meclizine suppresses the sensation of vertigo. It can be used to improve the symptoms of vertigo, but has the unfortunate side effect of slowing improvement during vestibular therapy. It can be used to improve severe symptoms, but should be avoided prior to therapy in order to get maximum benefit.
