Vertigo diagnosis: It depends on why you are vertiginous. If this is BPPV, then doing specific maneuvers (Epley maneuvers) can be quite helpful.

Begin with diagnosis: Treatment of vertigo can be frustrating. Meclizine is sedating and usually not effective. Successful treatment might be possible for some diagnoses. Vertigo is a symptom, not a diagnosis. There are many known causes. Scopolamine patch ....TRANSDERM-SCOP... is much mare effective and better tolerated than meclizine. Acupuncture is an excellent placebo.
